MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS We have special arrangements for examinations such as insurance, employment, HGV, PSV etc. Please ask at reception for an appointment stating which medical is required. IMMUNISATIONS It is advisable for patients to have tetanus and polio immunisations every 10 years. An appointment to have these done with the practice nurse can be arranged at reception. PRACTICE CLINICS Pre-conception Clinic This is run by the midwife. An appointment can be arranged for a time that is convenient to yourself and the midwife. Antenatal Clinic This clinic is held every Wednesday morning with the midwife in attendance. Child Development And Immunisations This clinic is held on a Tuesday morning. A full screening programme is carried out, and immunisations given as necessary. The health visitor is also involved with this clinic. Diabetic, Minor Surgery and Post Myocardial Infarction Clinics These clinics are on alternate Wednesday afternoons with the doctor and practice nurse in attendance. Asthma Clinic Our practice nurse runs this clinic at appointment times to suit you, the patient. Additional Clinics Our practice nurses also
