HOW
DO I... MAKE
AN APPOINTMENT ?
Appointments can
be made by phone or by calling in person at the health centre.
Our appointments are made
up to a month in advance. Genuine
emergencies are normally seen on the same day, but not necessarily with
the doctor of your choice.
HOW DO I... REGISTER?
NEW
PATIENTS If you live within our practice area you
are welcome to register with us. You will be invited for a short consultation
with a practice nurse to discuss any relevant medical conditions we
need to know about before your records arrive from your previous doctor.
HOW
DO I... OBTAIN
A HOME VISIT ?
For maximum efficiency, requests
for housecalls should be made between 8.30-11.00am.
HOW
DO I... MAKE
A COMMENT/COMPLAINT?
We hope that you shall have
no cause to find fault with the service that we provide; however, in
the event that you wish to speak to someone, Mrs McNeill, our practice
complaints officer, will be happy to speak to you.
HOW
DO I... CHANGE
MY DETAILS?
Please let us know
if you change your name or address so that we can inform the Health
Board and keep your records up to date.
HOW
DO I... OBTAIN
A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION?
Please give 48 hours
notice for prescriptions. When you pick up your prescriptions, there
will be an order form attached to it. Please keep this until you need
your prescription again and tick the items you require in the boxes
provided. Prescriptions handed in on a Thursday can be collected on
the Friday after 4.00pm.
