elderly_consultTo help the smooth running of the Practice

  • It is important that you inform us if you are unable to keep an appointment and you should arrive on time for any appointments.
  • It is very important that you let us know if you change your name or address so that we can inform the Health Board and keep your records up to date.
  • An up to date telephone number is also important to the Practice—please let us know if you change yours.

Zero Tolerance

We strongly support the NHS policy on zero tolerance. Anyone attending the surgery who abuses the GPs, staff or other patients be it verbally, physically or behaves in any threatening manner whatsoever, will risk removal from the practice list. In extreme cases we may sum-mon the police to remove offenders from the practice premises.

Patients may also be removed from the practice list in the following circumstances:

Damage to practice property or equipment.

Persistent misuse of the system.

Patients whom the Doctors are unable to manage clinically eg breach of contract with the Doctor regarding use of prescribed medication, breakdown in patient communication.
